What we monitor

Read the move before the announcement.

DentAlert watches the opening hours, websites, booking systems, and job posts of the practices near you, and sends you one short weekly email with everything that changed.

Operational signals we track

Nobody issues a press release before they open on Saturdays or start hiring an associate. The moves that reshape a local market are quiet ones, and they show up on a website or a job board weeks before anyone talks about them. Those are the ones worth catching early.

Opening hours and weekend slots

A practice adding Saturday mornings or evening appointments is going after the working patients who cannot take a Tuesday off. It is one of the cheapest competitive moves there is, and one of the most effective. We flag hours changes as they happen.

Contact details and business status

A new phone number, a changed address, a listing that goes temporarily closed. Small on their own, and quite loud together. These are the first signs of a move, a merger, or a practice in trouble.

Quiet website updates

Not every change is announced. A reworked treatment page, a new fee guide, a freshly rewritten about page, a team member who has quietly disappeared. We scan the sites of the practices you picked and tell you what was added, removed, or rewritten, down to whether a page grew or shrank.

Booking and online scheduling

A practice adding online booking, switching to a new platform, or putting a scheduler on its front page has decided to compete on convenience. Patients notice that faster than they notice clinical quality.

Associates, hygienists and specialists

Recruitment is a strategy leak. A practice advertising for an associate is expanding or replacing someone. One hiring an orthodontist or endodontist is about to bring specialist work in-house. One that has been hiring the same role for six months has a retention problem. We catch the vacancies on their site and on social.

New locations and expansion

The biggest move of all, and usually the last one you hear about. A second site, a refurbishment, a new practice name appearing alongside the old one: we watch for the signals that a nearby practice is getting bigger.

And the full report attached to each email lays out the practices you chose side by side: current rating and follower count, how those moved this week, and who is running Facebook and Instagram ads right now.

Three steps to your first report.

Find your business.

Enter your ZIP code and practice name, and we pull your profile straight from Google Maps. It takes a few seconds, with no long forms and no account to set up first. If patients can find you, we can find you too.

Choose who to watch.

We show you the other practices nearby, and you pick the ones you actually compete with. There is no algorithm guessing on your behalf. You know your street better than any tool does, so you start with a few names and adjust the list whenever you like as your competition changes.

Get your weekly email.

Your first 30 days are free, so you see the value before you pay anything. Every week a short email lands with every move your competitors made, across their Google profile, website, social, and reviews. It takes a minute to read, with the full report attached whenever you want more detail.
